Creative holiday camps for Reception to Year 6
School holidays just got a whole lot more magical.
Our themed holiday camps combine singing, dancing, drama, games, crafts and imaginative adventures inspired by favourite movies, musicals, stories and music trends. We pride ourselves for creating safe, confidence-building spaces where children can make friends, express themselves and have fun.
Designed for children in Reception to Year 6, every day is packed with creativity, movement, laughter and teamwork, helping children grow in confidence while making unforgettable memories during the school holidays.
As an Early Years Ofsted registered provider, Musical Mayhem is committed to delivering high-quality childcare, safeguarding and inclusive creative experiences families can trust.
We now offer a limited number of extended-hour spaces until 5pm for our holiday camps. Please email Lyndsey regarding this: info@musicalmayhem.org
Parents should also ensure that any provider caring for children under the age of 5 holds appropriate Early Years Ofsted registration where legally required, helping ensure children are cared for in safe, regulated and properly safeguarded environments.
New for 2026 – Junior Teaching Assistant Programme
We recognise that many older children and young people can feel there are limited safe, structured and affordable spaces available during the school holidays once they move beyond primary age.
To help bridge this gap, Musical Mayhem will be introducing a small Junior Teaching Assistant Programme for students in Year 7 and above. This opportunity allows older students to support camp activities alongside our team, helping them build confidence, responsibility, leadership skills and experience working with younger children within a supervised and supportive environment.
Junior Teaching Assistants will assist with activities such as games, creative tasks, encouraging younger children and helping staff set up and support sessions throughout the day.
Places will be limited to ensure appropriate supervision and safeguarding ratios are maintained at all times. Junior Teaching Assistants will always remain under the supervision of Musical Mayhem staff and within our safeguarding and Early Years Ofsted requirements.
As part of the programme, participating students will be able to attend holiday camp at a reduced rate of 50% in exchange for their support and involvement across the day.
Please email info@musicalmayhem.org to book your space
What to Expect
What to expect at our Musical Theatre Holiday Clubs
Held at our community partner venue, Dockland Settlements (SE16 5AA), each week of our London holiday camps features a brand-new theme. From pop stars and fairytales to movie musicals and circus adventures, every holiday camp ends with a mini performance where children can proudly showcase what they’ve learned to family and friends.
We know school holidays can be challenging for parents and carers – that’s why our musical theatre holiday club in London offers a safe, joyful space where children can thrive. During each workshop, your child will enjoy:
Daily singing, dancing and acting sessions, plus creative arts and crafts to inspire imagination
Safe, inclusive, confidence-boosting activities
Mindfulness and movement to support wellbeing
Fun, engaging sessions led by friendly, experienced teachers
A mini end-of-week show to celebrate their achievements
Opportunities to make new friends and build lasting memories
Our teaching team is professionally trained in musical theatre, with real-world performance experience and a shared passion for helping children shine – whether they join us for half-term fun or for our popular music summer camp.

Frequently asked questions about our Musical Theatre Holiday Club Workshops
What are the usual start and finish times of your musical theatre holiday clubs?
Our usual holiday club workshops run from 9am to 4pm.
What should my child bring each day, and is food provided?
We don’t fill up water, so you need to provide 2 bottles, or 1 large bottle of water, 2 snacks for break times and a nut free packed lunch. Comfortable clothes/shoes suitable for movement and play are recommended.
Can we see our child perform?
Yes we offer a mini-performance on the final day of the holiday camp. Giving everyone a chance to show off their new skills. We provide times for this in advance.
What measures are in place for child safety, behaviour, and first aid?
We appreciate your concern. We can confirm that there is a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) on site regularly (but not permanently). We are OFSTED registered and follow all required polices, for example all staff are DBS-checked, our child-staff ratio is never higher than 1:12, and there is a certified Paediatric First Aider present at all times.
Do you accept Childcare Vouchers or offer support?
Yes we accept childcare vouchers. We also have a Bursary Fund to help support any child who wishes to attend a Musical Mayhem Musical Theatre Holiday Club Workshop. Please get in touch to find out more.
Everyone is welcome at Musical Mayhem
We believe that cost should never stop anyone from joining the Musical Mayhem family.
We are very proud to have a Bursary Fund that provides funded and part-funded places for families who need a little extra support to access our musical theatre classes, workshops, and holiday programmes.
