About Musical Mayhem London CIC
We believe performing arts should be for everyone
A performing arts club where everyone belongs
Musical Mayhem London is a Southwark-based performing arts club offering fun, inclusive classes for all ages – with sensory classes for babies and toddlers, through to children’s musical theatre sessions, performing arts holiday workshops, and adult dance fitness classes. As an independent Community Interest Company (CIC), we’re passionate about making the joy of dance, drama and music accessible to everyone. We are also registered with Ofsted, ensuring our provision meets recognised standards of care, safety and quality.
Founded in 2014 by Lyndsey Rogerson, Musical Mayhem has spent over a decade striking the perfect balance between learning, creativity and joyful mayhem. When you join one of our classes, you become part of the Musical Mayhem Family – a supportive community of children, parents, carers and adults who love to move, play and perform.
We’re proud to be a trusted support network for families across London, offering free community events throughout the year, alongside our acting, singing and dance programmes. Many of our students have grown with us, from taking their earliest classes and now turning into confident, inspiring young adults – and that’s the real magic of Musical Mayhem.

She has a strong passion for singing, and created the UK’s only female Queen Tribute band, Fat Bottomed Girls and performed at the Queen Convention 2019. Musical Theatre is a perfect way to give children the freedom to play whilst learning to sing, dance and act, but most importantly having fun.
Lyndsey loves teaching students of all ages, and now also offers private singing, drama and confidence classes. Lyndsey believes Musical Mayhem is much more than just an after school club. Whilst most Theatre Schools are intent on maximising profits, or nurturing talented performers, the ethos of Musical Mayhem is to build confidence in young people from all walks of life.

Bursary Support for performing arts classes, camps and workshops
At Musical Mayhem London CIC, we believe that everyone – children, young people and adults – should have the opportunity to enjoy the confidence, creativity and connection that performing arts can bring. We understand that circumstances vary, and sometimes a little extra support can make all the difference. That’s why we created our Bursary Fund: to ensure that cost is never a barrier to joining our performing arts classes, workshops or holiday programmes.
Through this fund, we’re proud to offer a range of funded and part-funded places each term, across all of our programmes, from our Miniature sessions to the Children’s Theatre Academy, and, even, our Adult Dance Classes. Everyone deserves the chance to shine.
How it works
Each term we can offer full or partially funded places for families most in need of support
Every bursary place is made possible through the generosity of our funders, sponsors, and community donations.
How to apply
If you’d like to apply for a bursary place, please complete our short Bursary Application Form. All applications are handled sensitively and confidentially by our team.
